From July 1, Aadhaar card linking is mandatory to book IRCTC Tatkal tickets. If we want to book Tatkal tickets, we link Aadhaar to IRCTC. These rules apply not only to online bookings but also to PRS counters and authorized agents. Therefore, it is essential to link your phone number with Aadhaar and keep both with you while booking tickets. According to the new rules, agents will be prohibited from booking AC tickets between 10 am and 10:30 am. For non-AC class, this restriction will be from 11 am to 11:30 am.
